Born in Milan, after living many years in Paris, she returns there to attend the Bocconi University to study Economics and Business..
Immediately after graduation she moves to the United States and collaborates with Arthemis Inc., a multinational company specialised in turnkey products and services for the furnishing industry.
She discovers her passion for decoration and back in Italy she attends L'Istituto di Architettura e Design in Milan to perfect her knowledge and "to better understand the needs of designers and learn their language".
Combining managerial and creative skills she founds her first company to distribute foreign textile brands on the Italian market, a structure that she sells some years later.
On the strength of her previous experience, she creates and manages the Italian branch of the Pierre Frey SA group, the most important French textile furnishing editor.
She develops its structure and its sales network, manages it for thirty years and turns it into one of the major players of the furnishing industry in Italy.
